It’s that time of year again! Many people are planning a Christmas celebration of some sort, be it a staff party, Christmas party, corporate party or Xmas dinner.

Everyone wants to make their party one to remember, an event that will stay in the minds of the guests for a long time to come.

While hiring a DJ or a band for the later part of the evening is a great idea, it is often the earlier time that is overlooked. During this time I will perform strolling magic for the guests, ensuring they see not just amazing magical illusions but also breaking the ice and providing a great talking piece.

The other time that magic goes down very well at Christmas parties is during the meal. I will go from table to table, between the courses, performing magic accompanied by friendly and witty conversation!

I also perform at many wedding parties over the Christmas period. Often the bride and groom will get married abroad and then hold a party for their friends and relatives in this country. These parties are great fun and my close-up magic provides an amazing welcome for all who attend.

I have been performing magic professionally around Swansea and Cardiff for twenty-five years and during this time I have mastered the art of not just magic, but also performing successfully in any kind of environment and to any audience.

Party magic is best performed before the band or disco has started. This is because when the music starts the volume is often so loud that it drowns out any easy conversation. While close-up magic is a very visual art it does also rely on conversation to keep it flowing.

Many people have seen magic on television but seeing it your own hands is something else altogether! The impossible will happen right in front of them and they will know there is no way that this took place with careful television editing.
